<p>A radiation image is recorded on a stimulable phosphor panel and the recorded image is reproduced by stimulating the phosphor panel with visible rays. As the phosphor, a Samarium and/or Praseodymium activated rare earth oxyhalide phospor is used, preferably a phosphor represented by the formula: LaOBr : aA, bB, wherein A is Sm and/or Pr, B is at least one element selected from the group of Tb, Eu and Ce and a and b are numbers satisfying the conditions 10<-8> <= a <= 10<-4> and 0 <= b <= 10<-4>.</p> |
