PURPOSE:To enable a single loader to perform loading on a plurality of machine tools at the same time, by providing a moving rest in front of the beds of the machine tools so that the rest with the loader put thereon is caused to move. CONSTITUTION:A first machine M1 performs a first process of machining, while a second machine M2 performs a second process of machining. When the first process of machining is finished as a moving rest 30 is located in front of the machine M1 and holding a workpiece on a pedestal 40, the convey-out arm 20 of the machine carries out an already-machined workpiece and the horizontal arm of a loader moves forth and mounts a not-yet-machined workpiece on the machine and the already-machined workpiece on the convey-out arm is held on a manipulator. After that, the loader on the moving rest 30 inverts the workpiece at an inverting station, delivers the workpiece to the machine M2 and finally carries the already-machined workpiece onto a pedestal 42. |
