SILENCER FOR COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To certainly reduce the noise actually generated from the suction port of a compressor by forming a ventilation chamber by surrounding a pair of narrow and wide barrels from the front and back with two partitioning walls formed of porous plates. CONSTITUTION:A silencing chamber part 2 having a wide spread part is connected onto a cylindrical narrowed conduit part 1. The top edge 1a of said narrowed conduit part 1 is extended and projected into the silencing chamber part 2 to be arranged there. The top edge 1a surface and the outer port 2a surface of the silencing chamber 2 are set at a proper interval, and bulkheads 3 made of porous plate having sponge-like gas openings formed by sintering A1 powder are stretched over said both surfaces, and a silencer apparatus A is formed. The base part 1b of the narrowed conduit part 1 is installed onto the suction port 6 of a compressor 5.
