PURPOSE:To regard a focusing state as an in-focus state and to grasp the timing of photographing securely by varying the value of defocusing which operates a display means for displaying the focusing state according to aperture information. CONSTITUTION:Light from a subject, separately by a beam splitter 20, is converged by a lens 30 and the focusing state of an image of the subject is detected in the form of a contrast ratio or phase shift and processed by a focus control part FC to output the value (d) of defocusing. To hold the quantity of light from the subject to an image pickup tube 60 invariably constant by controlling the stopping-down state of an aperture diameter 51, a pin implanted in a lever 54 rotates a sliding plate 53 with the rotating force of a driving part 57 and then a pin implanted in a sliding plate 53 engages with the long-sized hole of an aperture ring 52 to move diaphragms, controlling the aperture diameter 51. The sliding plate 53 is provided with a sliding piece 55 to make the resistance value variation of a sliding resistor 56 to correspond to the aperture diameter, detecting aperture information. |
