PURPOSE:To improve resolving power, by using optical elements which have electrooptic effect, shifting an image of a subject in position, and correcting the shift and observing a composite image on an ocular side. CONSTITUTION:At a halfway point of an optical objective system 5, an optical element 7 formed in a parallel plane plate having both surfaces facing each other in an optical-axis direction is provided slantingly to the optical axis. This optical element 7 has electrooptic effect for varying refractive index to light passing through it electrically and a voltage is applied between both surfaces to vary the refractive index, shifting an image formed on the objective-side end surface 3 in position at right angles to the optical axis. Further, an optical element 8 formed similarly is interposed in the optical path of an optical ocular system 6 slantingly to the optical axis; it slants to the same extent with and in the opposite direction to the optical element 7 and an image appearing on an ocular end surface 4 is corrected to the original position. An AC power source 9 applies voltages to the optical elements 7 and 8 at the same time to vary the refractive index at the same time. |
