<p>For strengthening and developing the chest and its muscles it has hitherto been usual to carry out exercises with barbells and, as an additional supplement, with two dumbbells. However, the known exercises are associated with motion dead points in the movement sequence, as a result of which the addressed muscles no longer contract adequately. The present invention proposes a device in which two support handles which can be gripped with the hands are provided in a frame and are suspended in the manner of a pendulum and at a distance from one another. The frame can consist of a rectangular basic frame resting on the floor on which vertical support posts are arranged, the upper ends of which are connected to each other by pivot axes for rotatable fixing of the support handles.</p> |
