PURPOSE:To obtain the simple compact high-reliable offset rhombic drive type Stirling engine which can set a kinetic phase angle between a power piston and a displacer piston at 90 deg. while inhibiting force applied to a rocking section. CONSTITUTION:One ends of connecting rods 46a, 46b for a displacer piston are supported pivotally to a rod 44 for driving the displacer piston in rocking-free shape, and the other ends of the rods 46a, 46b are supported pivotally to the first stage sections 51a, 51b of a crankshaft 50 by a pins 52a, 52b. Connecting rods 43a, 43b for the power piston are pivotally supported rotatably to a second stage section 53 twisted at predetermined angles theta (such as 15 deg.) to the first stage sections of the crankshaft 50 by pins 54a, 54b. |
