PURPOSE:To provide titled machine which welds even metal with high thermal conductivity stably by detecting the surface temperature of objects to be welded, and controlling a main power source device on the basis of the detection signal and a reference signal from a surface temperature standard setter for the objects. CONSTITUTION:A differential amplifier 20 compares the reference signal from the surface temperature standard setter 22 for the base materials 10a and 10b with the detection signal, which is proportional to the surface temperature of the base materials 10a and 10b, obtained by processing the detecting output of a temperature detector 16 by amplification 18. On the basis of the difference signal, the main power source device 24 is controlled. Namely, the control over the device 24 is so performed by the output signal of the amplifier 20 that a welding current is increased when the detection signal based upon the surface temperature of the base materials 10a and 10b is lower than said reference signal, on the contrary, decreased when higher. Under this control, the surface temperatures of the base material 10a and 10b are held constant to stabilize the fused state of a weld zone. |
