摘要 PURPOSE:To correct positional shift by a method wherein positional shift of each mask pattern is detected from the black stripe rows formed inside of a panel for forming a fluorescent screen and moire fringes caused by appertures for pattern forming of a mask pattern, which forms the three primary colors stripe rows and index stripe rows respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a distance in the Z direction between the inside of a panel 1 and a mask pattern 2 is adjusted by an exposure device so that it may become the proper distance (da) in all the position P1-P5 of the panel 1, the lights La of a light source 3 through apertures of a mask pattern 2 reach the positions P1-P5 respectively, whereby moire fringes of the panel 1 become patterns parallel to the X direction due to a positional shift in the theta direction so as to be known that the distance in the Z direction between the inside of the panel 1 and the mask pattern 2 is adjusted. In this way the positional shift of the mask pattern in the Z direction, the theta direction and the X and Y directions can be detected only by visually checking the moire fringes generated on the panel 1 and also the positional shift of the mask pattern 2 in the Z direction, the X and Y directions can be corrected by a change of moire fringes thus to simplify positional matching of the panel 1 with the mask pattern 2.
