摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the pressure loss due to bent air duct and contrive to increase the air flow rate and to lower the noise by a structure wherein a cold air discharge port is enlarged to the side surface in the window air conditioner having an indoor blowing structure with horizontally circulating system. CONSTITUTION:The window air conditioner having an indoor blowing structure with horizontally circulating system sucks indoor air from a suction grill so as to pass through a filter 3, cool at an evaporator 4, accelerate by means of a Sirroco fan 6 and discharge through the bent air duct 9 from a discharge port 2. In this case, the discharge port 2 is enlarged to the side surface to make an L- shape structure. Due to the structure as mentioned above, the cold air accelerated by means of the Sirroco fan 6 is blown-off from the discharge port 2 into a room smoothly without changing its flow direction, resulting in decreasing the draft resistance in the bent air duct 9 and accomplishing the increase of air flow rate, the lowering of the noise and the like.
