This invention consists of a method for producing a roadway plate of concrete on one or more supporting bridge beams. The manufacture of the roadway plate occurs in a factory in connection with the bridge building and after being cured at the factory, the plate is moved to its final location on the bridge beams where the space between the plate and the beam is filled with concrete. The factory is erected adjacent to and in the middle of the front of one end of the bridge beams and the plates are cast in the factory in a casting mold after which after the curing of the plate is lifted up to a level at which it can be pulled out onto the bridge beams primarily only by means of pulling forces in the direction of the bridge beams.
