PURPOSE:To improve the returning of oil at high speed running, by utilizing pulsating pressure generated in a crank chamber to forcibly return the oil to an oil pan respectively from a rocker chamber and the crank chamber. CONSTITUTION:At operation of an engine, positive pressure and negative pressure of a piston 6 at its vertically reciprocating motion are all acted upon a crank chamber 3 to remarkably cause generation of pulsating pressure. Accordingly, at operation, forcible returning of oil in a rocker chamber 13 at negative pressure then forcible returning of oil in a recessed part 21 of a partitioning plate at positive pressure are alternately repeated synchronously with the pulsating pressure in the chamber 3. Then with a period of the pulsating pressure in the crank chamber, forcible returning action of oil is changed in accordance with a speed of the engine, at high speed running, if a lubricating oil quantity is increased, a large amount of oil can be forcibly returned meetably to the above increase. |
