PURPOSE:To color the area from an odd intersecting point to an even intersecting point, by deleting the undesired intersecting point after extracting a cross mode. CONSTITUTION:A cross mode detecting part 5 for intersecting points decides previously the end point of each stroke, gives an interpolation between the end points with a straight line and decides the X coordinate value of an intersecting point on the basis of the Y coordinate value of a scan line. At the same time, the part 5 decides a cross mode. An intersecting point rearranging part 6 performs a sorting process in order of rising and on the basis of the X coordinate value of each intersecting point. Then the intersecting points are extracted with every two units by an undesired intersecting point deleting part and then deletes the intersecting point of one side when a prescribed pattern relation is obtained. Finally, a coloring part 9 describes the color information for the dots on a segment which is designated by the coordinate value at an odd intersecting point and the coordinate value at an even intersecting point. |
