PURPOSE:To improve a fixing force of the titled device by mounting a fixing force reinforcing ring consisting of iron, stainless steel or brass and then brazing it to the tool chip holder. CONSTITUTION:A fixing force reinforcing ring 6, 6' is mounted to the silicon nitride tool chip 1 in addition to a cut-away portion 4 in the tape carrier system. For this fixing force reinforcing ring 6, 6', any material such as iron, stainless or brall which can be easily brazed can be used. Thereafter, the silicon nitride tool chip 1 is fixed to the tool holder 2 by a brazing material 3. In this case, the fixing force reinforcing ring 6, 6' clamping the tool holder 2 and silicon nitride tool chip 1 is tightly fixed by a brazing material 3, improving a fixing force to a large extent as compared with the case of brazing only by the silicon nitride tool chip 1 having insufficient wetting nature. |
