A rack to be used as a display stand for decorations, flowers or the like consists of two laterally arranged support members (11 and 12) which are spanned by shelves (14) lying on cross-members (15). Each support member (11 and 12) has a standing leg (16), on the free upper end of which a supporting leg (17) rests at an acute angle. The ends of the standing leg (16) and of the supporting leg (17), which are in mutual contact, are fixed in their position by a connecting rail (20), the connecting rail (20) being provided with an arm (24) which extends substantially perpendicularly to the supporting leg (17) and rests on the lengthwise surface (25) of the supporting leg (17) which is remote from the standing leg (16). <IMAGE>
