PURPOSE:To prevent the generation and detection of an error of a card puncher and a card reader, by providing the collating function for printed characters and punching marks for the card reader. CONSTITUTION:When a card 1 is carried toward the arrow, a light source lamp 3 irradiates a punching mark 1M beneath the lamp 2, and the light transmitted through the mark is detected at a reading photo cell 3 of a mechanism section which is provided with a pickup element 4. The pickup element 4 has a function of deflection and scanning toward X/Y directions such as a television camera and a CCD element, and print letters 1C on the card are scanned and read out. |
