NOISE ATTENUATING DEVICE FOR ENCLOSED TYPE ROTARY COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To keep resonance in vertical directions with respect to an axis away from a specified frequency range and improve a property against noise by a method wherein a choked part is provided in a straight tube extended into an accumulator in the device in which the accumulator is attached to an enclosed vessel. CONSTITUTION:The accumulator 5 is attached to the outer periphery of the enclosed vessel 1 while the straight tube 8, connected to the suction port 2a of a compression element 2, is extended into the accumulator 5. The choked part 9 is formed on the whole periphery of the central part of the straight tube 8 so as to be decreased in the diameter thereof at a part by the choked part 9. According to this method, the resonance in the vertical directions with respect to the axis of the straight tube 8 may be adjusted in the specified frequency range and the property of the device against noise may be improved.
