PURPOSE:To provide a filler retaining fluidity for long hours and suitable for filling gaps formed in the groundwork of a large structure by subsidence of ground, prepared by blending water granulated slag in fine powder, bentonite, filler and water. CONSTITUTION:The filler is prepared by mixing 3-20pts.wt. bentonite, 5- 50pts.wt. water granulated slag in fine powder and 0-10pts.wt. filler (e.g. stone powder or calcium carbonate) in 100pts.wt. water. When filled in gaps beneath the foundation of a structure, the filler retains fluidity for 1-7days without starting curing. Thus, it can be filled readily in a sufficient amount. The strength of the cured material begins to increase in about 28days and the filled ground has a compressive strength of 1-50kg/cm<2>. |
