PURPOSE:To compensate a slanted picture data with a simple processing, by controlling the readout address so as to replace picture data between scanning lines in response to a tilt angle, in reading out the picture data. CONSTITUTION:An address calculation section 16 calculates an address P of a picture data to be read out next every time the picture data is read out for one byte or one word. The address P is expressed as P=Q+1+alpha+beta, where Q is the address of data out at preceding time, and alpha, beta are correction terms toward the main and sub-scanning line direction. When a line length counter 11 is not zero and a segment length counter 9 is not zero, alpha=beta=0 is obtained. When the counter 11 is not 0 and the counter 9 is 0, alpha=+ or -L (lateral length) and beta=0 are obtained. With the counter 11=0, a paper length counter 15not equal to 0 and a block length counter 13not equal to 0, then alpha=0 and beta=0 are obtained. When the counter 11 is 0, the counter 15 is not 0, and the counter 13 is 0, then alpha=0 and beta=+ or -1 are obtained. When the counter 15 is 0, the readout is finished. Thus, the data are compensated and read out. |
