<p>New, highly active fungicides which are N-acyl-S-halo-alkyl, or S-halovinyl-thiolcarbamates are prepared by reacting a carboxylic acid, e.g., benzoic acid, with an imidoyl chloride, such as trichloromethylthiomidoyl chloride. These new fungicide thiocarbamates are effective in fighting a wide range of fungi which attack useful plants, being particularly adtive against fungi belonging to the different orders Ficomicoeti, Ascomicoeti and Basidiomicoeti.</p> |
