A hydraulic dredger comprises an articulated boom (11) with first and second arms (12, 13) which are connected to one another at the ends in articulated fashion and comprises a grab arm (14) which is coupled to a free end of the second arm (13). A loading bucket (38) is pivotably mounted on the free end of the grab arm (14). An articulated linkage (17) which comprises a lever (18) and hydraulic cylinders (19, 20) is mounted on a fully rotatable turret (10) and serves for pivoting the supporting arm (12) relative to the turret. One part (46) of the grab arm (14) can rotate about its longitudinal axis relative to the second arm (13). As a result, the loading bucket (38) can be adjusted into various positions, allowing the dredger to work either as a shovel dredger or as a front loader. <IMAGE>
