In a shuttering support, the holding means used to support the supporting column against falling over are so designed that, despite lateral attachability or removability, they are displaceable relative to the supporting column of the shuttering support along the supporting column as desired and are fixable on the supporting column. For this purpose, a sleeve part on which folding legs capable of being pivoted onto the supporting column or spread away from it are articulated is provided with a lateral locking device which does not hinder the displaceability of the sleeve part along the supporting column and which can be opened to free a lateral sleeve opening by which the supporting column is separable from the sleeve part towards the side. <IMAGE>
