PURPOSE:To exactly feed or discharge recording papers by removing static electricity charged on the recording papers being fed by providing a static electricity removing function for a feeding guide in the recording paper pathway of a recorder. CONSTITUTION:A recording paper 2 supplied from a cassette and fed to a recording head 23 through feeding rollers 7A and 7B is deprived of static electricity charged by means of the static electricity removing brush 32 of a feeding guide 25, during which curls, etc., are also removed by stroking, etc. Then, the recording paper 2 is attracted on an attracting plate 21 by an air blow fan 21 to keep it flat and then recorded by the recording head 23. The recorded paper 2 is further sent and then discharged by blowing air from an opening 27 in a pathway 26A without being attracted on the pathway 26A by static electricity. An static electricity removing brush used is the one consisting of a brush base 31 flocked with carbon fiber 32, etc., and a backing material 33 of an elastomer. |
