<p>The system is used in the agricultural implement field to fix the holder (3,4) of a rotary harrow, and using a split cone (5) to fix the holder axle (3) to the pinion (2) in lieu of splines. The cone is keyed (7) to the axle and is in turn keyed (6) to the pinion . To demount the harrow a cover (10) must be removed and a bearing lifted out before the unwinding of a nut (12) from above. The axle is mounted on bearings (8,9) located by housings (10,11) fixed demountably to the top and bottom walls (1) of the casing. The cone segments are held on the axle by the nut, and the holder is removed from below.</p> |
