The dome of the cascade hat consists of a plurality of rings mounted one above the other in the shape of a gable roof. A ventilation gap is left free between the rings. A plurality of spacers (e.g. small material plates) are mounted in this ventilation gap. The cascade hat is a completely new creation which extends the range of articles.
