PURPOSE:To obtain a stable color image through stabilization processing without rinsing, by color developing a photographic material, fixing it with a bleach fixing soln. contg. polycarboxylic acid iron salt, and processing a 3-8pH buffer soln. cong. at least one of phosphoric acid and boric acid. CONSTITUTION:A dye-forming type silver halide color photosensitive material having color couplers is color developed, and bleach-fixed with a bleach-fixing soln. containing the iron salt of polycarboxyl acid. A color image is stabilized by processing with 3-8pH aq. buffer soln. containing at least one of phosphoric acid and boric acid, without rinsing it. Use of this process permits an amount of water used per m<2> of photosensitive material to be reduced to about 1/10 of conventional process. Thie stabilization soln. is prepared by dissolving 4.5g dihydrogen potassium phosphate in 1 liter water to give 5.0pH value. Use of this stabilization soln. for 1min stably forms a fog-free color image having good image density. |
