PURPOSE:To lower a sluice gate at a fixed lowering rate by its own weight by a method in which a differential speed change gear is provided in an elevator and the automatic lowering action of the sluice during an emergency period is transmitted from the differential speed change gear to a centrifugal brake. CONSTITUTION:When opening or closing a sluice by a motor, the rotation of the motor is orderly transmitted to an input gear 4, an outer rotary small gear 5, a gear 7, a pinion gear 8, a super gear 10, a pinion gear 12, a super gear 13, and a load pinion gear 15, and a rack bar 16 is moved up and down by turning the gear 15. In case of emergency, when the sluice is rapidly lowered, the braking condition of the second electromagnetic brake 19 is released, the rack bar is moved downwards under the weight of the sluice, and the lowering action is orderly transmitted to the gears 15, 13, 12, 10, 8, 7, and 5. At the time, the rotation of the gear 4 is regulated by the first electromagnetic brake 3, the rotation of the gear 5 is transmitted to the gears 9, 17, and 18, a chain wheel 21, rack rollers 25, 26, and 30, and the centrifugal brake 28, and thereby the lowering speed of the sluice can be kept constant by the brake 28. |
