PURPOSE:To simplify the operation of loading of a recording disc, by providing a matching mechanism operating a recording disc from a loading position to a reproducing position or from the reproducing position to the loading position, in response to a mobile body having a signal detector. CONSTITUTION:A mobile body 9 having a signal detector 10 detecting a signal of a recording disc 1 is moved in the radial direction of the recording disc along a guide rod 8 with the driving of a mobile drive device 13. When a cartridge contained with the recording disc is loaded from an insertion inlet 7a of a chassis 7 and the mobile body drive device 13 is operated, and the mobile body 9 is shifted right, the recording disc is moved from the loading position to the reproducing position in repsonse to this movement, the recording with the signal detector 10 is reproduced, and when the mobile body 9 is in turn shifted left, the recording disc is correspondingly moved from the reproducing position to the loading position. |
