PURPOSE:To enable adjusting the working characteristics of the electromagnetic pump to the desired characteristics in such a way that an engaging device which engages a plunger of an electromagnetic pump to drive an actuator with a fixed core is formed to be adjustable, and magnetic gap is adjusted between the both. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic pump 13 sucks working fluid in a reservoir chamber 14 through a path 16 into an operating part 12, and feeds it under pressure through a path 16 into a pressure chamber 17. hereat, a fixed core 63 and a plunger 64 are engaged through springs 72, 73 in an inner cylinder 61 of the operating part 12, and the plunger 64 is driven in reciprocation through a coil 11, so that working fluid is fed under pressure. In consequence, through the working characteristics of a pump 10 is determined by means of magnetic gap interval d to the fixed core 63 when the plunger 64 is at its stationary position, the interval d can be easily adjusted from the outside by changing the position at one end of the spring 73 through an adjusting screw 75. |
