PURPOSE:To reproduce a correct recording level even with repetitive fade-in and fade-out, by holding the output of a level detecting means and arbitrarily changing the output. CONSTITUTION:A variable impedance means 1 consists of a variable impedance circuit and a switching element, is connected to a signal transmission line and the recording level is changed by variable gain. A level detecting means 2 consists of a peak level detector and detects a signal corresponding to a maximum value of an input signal. A level holding and coupling means 3 consists of a peak holding circuit, a differential amplifier, a control reference amount holding means 31 and a control variable changing means 32, inputs an output of the level detection means 2, gives an output to a switch element of the variable impedance means 1, and controls the means 1. |
