PURPOSE:To stabilize the safety and durability of a welding transformer by mounting earth resistors in the intermediate position of the secondary coils on the side opposite from the output terminals of the secondary coils, and embedding these together with laminated coils in a molding material. CONSTITUTION:An earth resistor 10 is disposed in the intermediate position 2c on the side opposite from the output terminals 2a, 2b of a U-shaped secondary coil 2, and one 11 of its lead wire is connected to the coil 2 and the other 12 is drawn to the outside primary coils 1 and the coils 2 are formed into laminated coils 4 via insulators 3. The coils 4 are inserted into casting molds 13, which are locked by means of bolts 14, then a molding material is injected into clearnances (e) in a vacuum casting chamber. The resistors 10 are molded together by this. The molded coil is removed from the molds 13, and iron cores are wound on the outside circumference. This is fixed in a containing case and the leads 12 extending to the outside are connected in the case. |
