PURPOSE:To provide a rubber-modified styrene resin compsn. having improved mar resistance and high luster, by adding hydrogenated polybutene and organic polysiloxane to a rubber-modified styrene resin containing rubbery polymer particles. CONSTITUTION:The titled compsn. contains 0.05-1.0wt% hydrogenated polybutene having a viscosity of 2,500-35,000cSt at 38 deg.C, and has an organic polysilixane content of 0.005-0.2wt% in terms of Si. The dispersed particles of rubbery polymer have an average size of 0.5-2.5mum which can be adjusted by changing the reaction condition in the course of manufacturing process of the compsn. when the monomer shows 10-40% conversion to polymer, or by blending two or more resins which contain rubbery polymers with different average particles sizes. |
