Slide fasteners prodn. appts. comprises a mold wheel with transverse spaced cavities for molding fastener teeth about spaced wrap-knit lengwese webs, and about transverse threads connecting the webs and lying in the mold cavities. A guid drum with raised projections feeds the wrap-knit webs assembly to the mold wheel, which makes sliding contact with an injection shoe. A seperator release fasteners from the wheel and a bending machinism folds them into U-shape about their center lines. Pref. a cooler is between the shoe and the seperator.
