PURPOSE:To reduce the bitterness of a ginseng, by attaching a solution of a food to a root of ginseng and coagulating it. CONSTITUTION:A food solution (e.g., a viscous solution of muscovado, dissolved chocolate solution) is attached to a root of a ginseng and coagulated, to reduce the bitterness of a ginseng. While raw ginsengs are dried, large roots are cut into round slices, etc., thin pieces are directly compressed in the state of half dry, and the sweet solution is attached to redried ginsengs and coagulated. The prepared ginsengs are soft to masticate, have reduced bitterness, are edible easily for peopel of all ages and both sexes, useful for recovery of fatigue, supply of nutrition, promotion of health, etc. |
