The invention relates to a valve arrangement for temperature control, having a valve, if appropriate a thermostat valve, fitted over a sleeve directly on a heater, and having a connection for the supply of the feed water and a device for admixing return water. In such a valve arrangement, an improved utilisation of the sensed heat of the feed water is provided in conjunction with a simpler design and easier assembly due to the fact that the connection opens into a nozzle whose exit jet is directed into a mixing chamber of a diffuser of a jet pump, and that the diffuser projects into the heater while keeping free an annular channel which is connected in terms of flow to the interior of the heater, on the one hand, and to the suction zone of the nozzle outlet jet, on the other hand.
