The radial piston pump comprises a housing (5,7) with cylinders (35) containing spring-loaded (36) pistons (33) driven by an eccentric (25). It has a common inlet chamber (37,41) connecting with each cylinder via an inlet valve (43), and a common outlet chamber (53) connected via non-return outlet valves (57). The inlet valves (43) are non-return valves arranged in ducts (39) between the inlet chamber and the cylinders and each have an interchangeable seat (45) with cross-sectional flow area smaller than that of the duct to provide throttle action. The housing may consist of two cup-shaped elements which fit one (7) inside the other (5), and contain the chamber (53) between them while one element (3) surrounds the eccentric and contains the cylinders and ducts (39).
