<p>1. A device for latching hatch covers in the closed position, in which the latching is effected by the cooperation, during a horizontal translational movement of the cover (1), between latching elements (17) carried by the cover and retainer elements (18) carried by the binding strake (2), characterized by the association with the binding strake of each hatch way of at least one locking control mechanism (16-15-10) intended to act on equipment (4, 5, 8, 9) of the hatch cover (1) so as to impose on this latter, brought into a near closure position, a complementary horizontal translational movement of an amplitude of a few centimeters causing latching of the cover without possibility of reverse action of the cover on the latching control so that any risk of spontaneous unlatching is excluded.</p> |
