Water-based central heating system - has temp. sensitive switches controlling fans beneath radiators

The central heating system has each of its radiators provided with a thermostat valve. Each valve has a temperature-sensitive setting device that operates an electrical switch that switches on a fan when the valve is opened and switches it off when the valve is closed. The fan is located beneath the radiator and conveys the heat into the room. The switch also operates an indicator. A delay circuit is located between the switch and the fan. The room is thus heated to the temp. set at the thermostat valve irrespective of the temp. set at the radiator.
