PURPOSE:To provide a ventilating apparatus which is capable of saving energy required for cooling or heating a room or rooms in a house and also capable of lowering the level of noises produced at the time of ventilating air in the room, by arranging a heat accumulating material between an outer wall member and an inner wall member, and providing a fan in an opening formed on the outside of the room. CONSTITUTION:A heat accumulating material 1 is charged between an outer wall member 2 and an inner wall member 3 of a building or house, and a fan 6 is provided in an opening 5 formed on the outside of a room to be air-conditioned. In case of air exhausting operation of the fan 6, air in the room is carried into the heat accumulating material 1 from an indoor opening 4 and then discharged to the outside from the outdoor opening 5, while accumulating heat energy in the material 1. When the heat accumulated in the material 1 is saturated, operation of the fan 6 is changed into the mode of drawing open air into the room. In this case, open air is drawn into the material 1 from the outdoor opening 5, and after receiving effective heat energy accumulated in the material 1, is then supplied into the room from the indoor opening 4. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to recover effective heat energy possessed by air in the room and at the same time to lower the level of noises. |
