The equaliser is inserted between two waveguide sections, and has an optical system comprising two identical parallel lenses along an axis common to both sections. Each lens consists of two parts of converging lenses. The minimum distance between the line and the peak of each lens section (3, 4) is equal to the distance between the common axis (5) and the point of incidence (R) of a light ray (r) emerging at the greatest angle from the waveguide section (g). The ratio of this distance (w) and the distance between the common axis (5) and optical axis (A) is equal to the ratio (d/f) between the distance (d) between the lenses and their focal length (f).
|
