PURPOSE:To detect various measuring objects simply by changing the materials to be contained by containing a material reacting with the material which is a measuring object into a porous ceramic beforehand. The cholesterol oxidase contained beforehand in the ceramic 1 and the cholesterol in the blood react to produce oxygen. The electric conductivity of the ceramic is changed by this, and it is possible to display the cholesterol value in the blood by measuring the rate of the change thereof with a signal processing circuit 7. If there is a ceramic that can detect physical quantity C in this way, B is contained in this ceramic and A can be detected by utilizing the reaction A+B C. Namely, the new physical quantity is detected simply by changing the B to be cotained. |
