The domestic slicing machine has a slicing unit with a rotary blade, a front unit and a guide support connecting the slicing unit with the front unit. The guide support has two prismatic roller guide assemblies and the slide is connected with the prismatic roller assembly by a quick release device. The connection of the two prismatic roller assemblies with the slide consists of two guide skids with horizontal hinge pins fitted laterally to the skids. The hinge pins on one of the guide skids are provided with a collar engaging with notches on the angled side walls of the slide. The hinged pins and collars are provided on the side adjacent to the blade.
