<p>A high frequency inverter circuit for lighting a fluorescent lamp 7 comprises two transistors Q1 and Q2 and a series resonant circuit comprising a capacitance 5, 6 and an inductance LO. The transistors Q1 and Q2 are connected in series across two D.C. terminals a, c and the resonant circuit is linked with the series connection point between the two transistors Q1 and Q2. The lamp 7 is connected across the capacitance 5, 6 of the series resonant circuit. A plurality of lamps may be connected to the inverter in series or parallel via respective resonant circuits. <IMAGE></p> |
