<p>PURPOSE:To provide a fermentation tank which can stir fermenting liquid without using electric energy and improve fermentation efficiency by so constituting the same that stirring means are driven by the weight of the raw fermenting materials charged from a raw material charge port and/or manpower whereby the raw fermenting materials are stirred. CONSTITUTION:Fermenting liquid made of org. waste materials is charged from a raw materials charge port 3 of a tank body 1 onto the impeller 4 formed of cup-like fermenting liquid receiving part 6 at the leading ends of vanes 5. The impeller 4 is rotated by the weight of this waste liquid and the impact force during dropping. Next, this rotating force is transmitted via belts 13, 14 to the 1st impeller 10, and further to the 2nd impeller 11 via a belt 12. As a result, the impellers 10, 11 are rotated and the fermenting liquid 8 in a fermenting chamber 9 is stirred by the rotation thereof, and the scum is forced into the liquid from the surface 8a of the liquid 8, where it is decomposed and annihilated. This fermenting tank is used for methane fermentation in particular.</p> |
