PURPOSE:To reject dot interference produced at a vertical non-correlation section surely and to improve the video quality through preventing deterioration of luminance component, by providing a separation circuit separating the luminance circuit not including a carrier chrominance signal. CONSTITUTION:A separation circuit 30 where a signal with smaller amplitude is not outputted when a pair of signals with equal polarity are inputted, is provided and a color video signal Si is inputted to a terminal 1 of the circuit 30. A high frequency color video signal Sa is separated at an HPF2 from this signal Si, and it is synthesized with the signal Si at a synthesizer 4 based on the signal Sa, and a low frequency luminance signal YL is separated and applied to a synthesizer 23. The signal Sa is delayed by 1H at a 1H delay circuit 21, a 1H delay signal Sb and the signal Sa are applied to an amplitude correlation device 20, a luminance signal Sd not including carrier chrominance signal is outputted from the device 20 and added to a synthesizer 23, and a luminance signal YW with broad band not including the carrier chrominance signal is outputted from the synthesizer 23 to prevent the deterioration of the luminance signal. |
