PURPOSE:To reduce the communication time and waiting time, by scanning an original to be edited in faster speed than normal original scanning speed. CONSTITUTION:A mode set section 26 transmits an operation mode to a variable speed section 27 and an edition processing section 24. The sectin 27 discriminates the operation mode, and switches the scanning speed from normal transmission to edition transmission and informs it to a motor control circuit 218 of a scanning section 21. The section 21 reads in the video signal, samples 212 and binarizes 213 it to a gate circuit 22. The gate circuit 22 transmits video signals to a storage section 23 and a transmission section 25 according to discriminated 271 mode. An edition processing circuit 241 makes editition processing of video according to the instruction of edition of an edition instruction generating section 242. |
