PURPOSE:To reduce the occupation area of a timer circuit, by providing the timer which starts operation on detecting an input signal and counts and outputs a minimum input signal continuation time, an output continuation time, and a release time successively. CONSTITUTION:The counter 81 of a timer circuit divides the frequency of clock pulses from an oscillator. Further, the counter is reset by signal from a gate circuit 84 to count a release time, a minimum input signal continuation time, and an output continuation time successively, thereby outputting a timing signal. When an input signal is detected, the counter 81 is operated and the output of a gate circuit 87 is held at a level ''1'', by temporary storing circuits 88 and 89 setting and storing each continuation time and the release time, only for the output continuation time the minimum input signal continuation time after the detection point in time of the input signal. |
