摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine automatic stop and start device capable of obtaining satisfactory start performance even under the environment in which it becomes difficult to hold a pressure of hydraulic fluid by an oil pressure holding means when an engine steps automatically. SOLUTION: A gear in a gear transmission part 6 is controlled by hydraulic fluid in a hydraulic control part 10. An oil pressure of hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic control part 10 is controlled by an oil pump 16 operating by a driving force of the engine 2 while the engine 2 operates. On the other hand, while the engine 2 is automatically stopped and controlled, hydraulic fluid is absorbed by an electric oil pump 18 from an suction hose 22 connected with a communicating hole 20 provided in an oil pan 12 in the hydraulic control part 10, and hydraulic fluid is returned into the hydraulic control part 10 through a discharge hose 24 and a line pressure detection hole 26 after adjusting its pressure. If it is judged that a vehicle is inclined by an acceleration sensor 35, the automatic stop control of the engine 2 is inhibitted.</p>
