The mooring hook consists of a pole (1) with a curved holding end (2). The pole is hollow and contains the mooring rope. The mooring rope is retained by guides (4) on a curved tube (5) retained on the end of the pole. The rope slides through the guide tube with an end eye (9), fixed on the rope at the end of the curved surface, to lift the load with the aid of a conventional boat hook. The end of the curved tube can be belled to retain the end of the eye (9a) to prevent it from turning.
