PURPOSE::To achieve an antenna with small size and in good efficiency, by stretching a conductor having 1/4 wavelength electric length including a grounded iron tower and supplying power to one end. CONSTITUTION:A conductor having a horizontal part BC and a vertical part CD from an iron tower is stretched. An equivalent electric length of the iron tower H is regulated to 1/8lambda, and the electric lengths of the horizontal part BC and the vertical part CD are respectively regulated to 1/8lambda. One end of the iron tower H is grounded. Energizing is made from the lower end of the vertical part CD of the conductor. Since high frequency currents of inphase flow to the iron tower H and the vertical part CD of the conductor, strong radiation can be made. Since the total height can be regulated about <=1/8lambda, higher towers can not be required in installing antennas for medium wave broadcast. |
